They say that if you need to take a time out from the hectic world of today – to immerse yourself in nature. Something about the smells, colors, and fresh air from the trees, the sky, and the ocean – they have the ability to wash your worries away. While we can’t always (unfortunately) take long-winded vacations- we believe that by introducing nature into our homes, we would still be able to bring a small dose of zen into our daily lives. Here are some beautiful examples of incorporating live plants into the home in artful and creative ways.
A simple frame backed with thin wiring can create the opportunity to display some plant-life in an aerial garden. Choose different sized air plants to create random patterns, or group similar sized plants next to each other to create a uniformed design.

With an array of glassware, china, wood boxes, or other, non-traditional items available, you can let your imagination go wild. Create a rustic look and feel by utilizing glass, vintage items and neutral colors. A more modern look could include a bright color pop on the plant’s vase or vessel, to contrast with your other room decor for a bold look.

Generally adding plant life to your home décor is beneficial in many ways. Not only do you have the visually pleasing aspect of nature in your rooms, but you also benefit from the air cleansing capabilities of the plants – with some added oxygen within your walls. One tip for anyone who wants to bring plant life into their home: make sure that you wash down the plants and inspect them for any bugs you many not want to welcome in your home.
There is an array of ways to incorporate plants into your décor in an artful fashion. Take your time to do some research as to what types of plants you would like to introduce to your home, and also research the various plant holders and vessels that are out there. Most importantly- remember to have fun!
